As a dedicated member of her community, Dr. Angela M. Martin has been involved with multiple efforts to promote health, wellness, and communal integrity in Calhoun County. These efforts include:

Dr. Angela M. Martin is also the only pediatrician in her region with additional training in environmental issues, and she has taken part in many initiatives to promote environmental awareness in her community. Dr. Angela M. Martin directs the nation's only stand-alone Children's Environmental Health Clinic. She also consults with the Environmental Protection Agency, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management, and the Calhoun County Health Department on environmental issues that affect children. They are also a Tolbert Health Services provider and accept patients from all current and upcoming environmental lawsuits.
